Dental services in Monument, CO
We Have the Experience and Skills You Can Trust
Dental X-Rays
We recently purchased a new, state-of-the-art Sirona Orthophos digital 3D panoramic x-ray machine. What does that mean for you? We’re glad you asked! This machine puts us ahead of the curve when it comes to implant placement and root canal procedure, both of which require careful examination below the gum line. This machine also emits much less radiation than traditional x-ray machines.
Root Canals
When the nerve of the tooth becomes infected, it can cause an abscess or injury to your jawbone. In years past, when this occurred, there would be no other choice other than extracting the tooth. Fortunately, we now can clean out and seal the interior of the tooth to prevent any further decay, while also relieving the pain associated with the infection. This procedure is relatively fast and painless and can be performed in one visit.
Solea Laser Dentistry
For patients who are terrified of needles or experience anxiety when they hear a drill, Solea Laser Dentistry. This state-of-the-art dental technology is fast, precise, and virtually noiseless and also requires no anesthesia for most procedures. Since there is no drilling or anesthesia, patients are much more comfortable, and procedures take less time.
Pediatric Dentistry
Children have special dental needs. This includes monitoring their primary (baby) teeth to ensure they’re erupting correctly while also providing the necessary space for their adult teeth. We go to great lengths to help our younger patients feel safe and comfortable. We aim to advise them on healthy dental habits, as we believe great dental care starts at an early age.
Mouth Guards
Do you wake up with pain in your jaw? You might suffer from Bruxism, an oral parafunctional activity connected to excessive teeth grinding or jaw clenching. This can wreak havoc on your teeth and jaw. However, we can fit you for a mouth guard to help alleviate some of the symptoms stemming from the activity.
KöR Whitening
As we age, the foods and drinks we ingest can take their toll on our teeth. Coffee, cigarettes, and sugary foods can stain our teeth over time through prolonged use. At Monumental Family Dentistry, We utilize KöR Whitening system to help restore the natural whiteness of your teeth while making your smile bright and beautiful again.
Porcelain Veneers
Veneers are very thin, custom-made shell coverings for teeth designed to improve the appearance of the tooth. These can change the color, shape, or size of the tooth. Veneers also provide strength and resilience comparable to your tooth’s natural enamel.
Dental Implants

The dental implant is a titanium post that is surgically placed into the gum where the tooth’s root used to be. This post acts as the root of the artificial tooth. After placement, the post is given a couple of months to heal and bond to the jawbone.

Crowns

A crown is a cap that is placed over a tooth that has been damaged or has suffered from advanced decay. These are used to cover the remaining tooth and restore its function, strength, and esthetic. We use CEREC® Same-Day Crowns so rather than the traditional two-visit process, you only need to see us once.

Bridges
A dental bridge connects a gap created by one or more missing teeth. The gap between the two teeth is filled with a pseudo tooth, a pontic, and is supported by the natural teeth surrounding it. Bridges help restore the ability to speak and chew properly, better distribute the force in your bite, and prevent the remaining teeth from drifting.
Composite Fillings
We use composite fillings instead of amalgam (metal) fillings for a few different reasons. For starters, they look natural and don’t stain the tooth over time. Secondly, composite fillings adhere to the tooth better, which means we don’t need to remove as much of the natural tooth to form a bond. Finally, amalgam fillings can be more sensitive to temperature changes.
